District 7 Incumbent Settoon to return to board and board election will be held for District 1

Chris Settoon of District 7, was recently re-elected without opposition to serve on the PC Electric Board of Directors.

There will be a board election this year in District 1 between incumbent Mr. Al Ewing and Ms. Adrianne Williams.

The 2021 Board of Directors election for District 1 is being conducted by mail only. Hand-delivered ballots will not be counted.     

A voting ballot will be mailed to our members in District 1 on December 10, 2020, from our certified public accountant, Major, Morrison and David. Members are encouraged to vote and mail your ballots in immediately. Members must mark their ballot and place it in the addressed prepaid RETURN ENVELOPE and seal.  Active and authorized members must sign the certification on the back of the return envelope or your ballot will not count.  Ballots will be mailed directly to our certified public accountant that will then count and verify each ballot. The ballot must be postmarked no later than Thursday, January 7, 2021. If a ballot is not postmarked by this deadline, it will not be counted. To ensure that your vote is valid and counted, be sure to follow all of the instructions on your ballot.

The winner of the District 1 election will be announced at the 82nd PC Electric Annual Membership Meeting on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, or, in the event that the Annual Membership cannot be held or is postponed due to Covid-19 restrictions, on Monday, January 25, 2021.

The PC Electric board of directors are elected by members from the seven districts comprising the service area of PC Electric. Directors must be PC Electric members who reside in the district they represent.

The seven directors comprising the PC Electric Board are responsible for managing the business and affairs of the electric cooperative. They exercise all of the powers of the cooperative except such as are by law, the Articles of Incorporation or the cooperative by-laws conferred upon or reserved to the members.
