Recently the children of PC Electric members as well as children who attend one of PC Electric’s adopted schools were invited to participate in the cooperative’s 13th annual art contest. The art was required to have an electrical theme and the words “Thank You” had to be included somewhere within the drawing. All art entries become the property of PC Electric, and the winning art will be displayed throughout the PC Electric’s office buildings. First place winners received a $35 gift card and a certificate. Second place winners received a $10.00 gift card and a certificate while all third-place winners received a certificate. The following students were selected as winners in this year’s contest:
Elementary Division:
- First Place – Jerzain Yanez, Rougon Elementary
- Second Place – Sophie Landry, University View Academy
- Third Place – Elijah Collins, Rosenwald Elementary
Middle School Division:
- First Place – Kierra Talley, Devall Middle School
- Second Place – Trinity Morgan, Livonia
- Third Place – Anna Jean Eaves, Catholic of Pointe Coupee
High School Division:
- First Place – Lily Martinez, Trinity Academy
- Second Place – Anna Teer, False River Academy
- Third Place – Raphael White, Plaquemine High School
