We Are Here To Help Our Members Covid-19 Billing Assistance

Couple Paying Bills

On March 11, 2020, Governor John Bel Edwards declared a statewide public health emergency by Proclamation 25 JBE 2020. Shortly thereafter, the Louisiana Public Service Commission issued a General Order dated March 13, 2020, prohibiting public utilities from disconnecting customers (members), for non-payment of service.

On June 24, 2020, the Louisiana Public Service Commission voted to terminate the March 13, 2020 disconnect order, with special provisions ordering public utilities to offer additional measures to assist customers (members) with all past-due balances accrued between March 13, 2020 through July 16, 2020. Accordingly, if you have a past-due balance, we want to help.

PC Electric is offering our members a repayment plan that will allow for past-due balances to be repaid over a 12-month period. Please call our offices at 225.638.3751 to set up your personal repayment plan.

As our community begins to recover and reopen from this unprecedented pandemic, PC Electric will resume disconnects beginning August 19, 2020 for all unpaid balances accrued after July 16th, 2020. Unpaid balances that are accrued after July 16, 2020 are not eligible for a payment plan and must be paid in full to avoid any late fees and/or disconnection.

Please contact our office at 225.638.3751 (Monday-Thursday; 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., and Friday; 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.) to discuss your personal payment options.

Many thanks for your business, and we are looking forward to hearing from you.
