One of our core principles is education. We believe it is important that our members' children continue their education and pursue their dreams after high school. This is why each year we award scholarships to three graduating high school seniors, one from each of our tri-parish service areas; Ibervillle Parish, Pointe Coupee Parish and West Baton Rouge Parish. The three $1,000 scholarships will assist the students in their continuing education at any accredited college, university, business or vocational school of their choice. A student's parent(s) must be a member of Pointe Coupee Electric or have a parent who is a manager or owner of a company that is a member of the cooperative. Students who meet all the criteria will have their names placed in a special drawing and the winners will be randomly selected during our annual meeting held on the last Wednesday in January of each year.
